MEDITATION MUSIC OF ANCIENT EGYPT explores the esoterica of ancient Egypt through a series of captivating compositions based on timeless musical principles. Each track on the recording was conceived and composed using Egyptian scales and is performed on instruments that recall the ancient world. Harps, plucked strings, and wind instruments create an atmosphere that is perfect for healing bodywork. The first track, "Entering The Eternal Now," shimmers into being and quickly settles into the listener's head. Markoe has intentionally composed music he believes will sound pleasant to the ear, but that also dissolves quickly into soothing, melodic white noise. This technique allows the listener to block out all other distractions and focus while meditating, practicing yoga, or doing any quiet activity.
